TURNKEY MOBILE AMMONIA TREATMENT
Meet ammonia limits fast. Not construction seasons.
Mobile NitrOx® is a road-ready biological treatment system that helps wastewater facilities respond to urgent ammonia challenges. We deliver, start up and train your operators — without waiting for a permanent construction project.
When ammonia becomes urgent, waiting months is not an option.
Permit limits, equipment failures, cold-weather nitrification issues, and temporary loading changes can create treatment challenges fast. Mobile NitrOx gives operators and engineers a temporary tool to respond quickly while long-term plans are developed.
Permit limits
New or tightened ammonia limits with a compliance date that construction can't meet.
Equipment failure
An aerator, blower, or nitrification process goes down and you need capacity now.
Cold-weather nitrification
Winter temperatures slow biological ammonia removal right when limits stay strict.
Temporary loading changes
A seasonal industry, bypass, or construction phase shifts flow and load unexpectedly.
Built for fast deployment
Mobile NitrOx can be delivered and started up quickly, helping facilities respond to urgent treatment needs — backed by the team that specializes in lagoons.

Biological treatment, not just storage
This is not simply a tank. It is a mobile biological treatment system using MBBR technology and BioChip media.
Small site footprint
The system is designed to provide treatment capacity in a compact mobile footprint.
Operator-friendly operation
The system includes startup, training, controls, and support so your team is not left figuring it out alone.
Backed by lagoon specialists
Triplepoint focuses on lagoon treatment: ammonia removal, aeration, phosphorus removal, nitrogen solutions, and rapid-response rental equipment.
From ammonia problem to nitrified effluent
Wastewater moves through the trailer in sequence — screened, biologically treated, and aerated before it leaves the unit.
Inside the tank, BioChip media provides protected surface area for nitrifying bacteria to establish and thrive. The blower and air distribution system — sized around a stainless 2.5" air main feeding 1" diffusers — deliver oxygen to support biological ammonia removal.
Controls, level alarms, and process support help maintain stable operation. Tank levels are monitored continuously: a nominal operating band keeps both pumps running, with graduated high and low alarms sent via PLC so operators know before a problem becomes a bypass.
Fabricated, water-tested, and inspected before it ever leaves the shop
Every Mobile NitrOx trailer is built on a DOT-compliant road chassis and filled for a full water test — tank integrity, welds, and internal compartments are checked before the unit is cleared to ship.
Mobile NitrOx is ideal for

Questions operators ask us
How fast can Mobile NitrOx be deployed?+
Typical lead time is 1–4 weeks, depending on availability and site requirements.
Is this a chemical treatment system?+
No. Mobile NitrOx is a biological treatment system using MBBR technology and BioChip media — not chemical dosing.
What utilities are required?+
The current published spec lists 480V / 3-phase power requirements.
Does Triplepoint support startup?+
Yes. Startup service and Operations & Maintenance training are included with every Mobile NitrOx deployment.
Can it be used as a pilot system?+
Yes. It can support temporary treatment needs and help evaluate long-term ammonia removal strategies before you commit to a permanent installation.
